In February, we hosted our third annual Global Emerging Markets Seminar in London, bringing together cross-asset clients, industry thought leaders and Nomura’s emerging markets (EM) expertise from Latin America, CEEMEA and Asia.
As markets focus on how the new Fed leadership and the Trump era geopolitics play out, our speakers discussed financial and geopolitical risks and the investment outlook for CEEMEA, Latin America and Asia for the year ahead. The agenda highlighted global EM economic drivers, how NAFTA renegotiations will impact not just the US, Canada and Mexico but developed and emerging markets the world over, credit pressures and tactical trading opportunities in all global EM.
